I liked the feel and the construction of the garment. It was definitely comfy for my 1 year old. There is nothing irritating his skin and its soft and light enough for our tropical weather at home in the Caribbean.
I do find that Gerber clothing tends to be small. My 1 year old son is also a preemie and thus he is small for his age, I always buy big so the clothes can last a while. But Gerber's clothes he grew out very quickly. I bought 24 month PJ's and at 13 months they seem just right.
I recommend them but just be wary about the size, buy BIG!
