I love these onesies. My son was huge when he was born (8lbs 9oz), but these were the only NB size anything that would fit for the first 2 weeks of his life. That being said, they run REALLY small. My son is now about 17lbs and 3.5 months old and is wearing the 12 month size comfortably. I am still buying them because they are not expensive and perfect for layering... but beware that the sizing is way off.

These definitely run small, I have to get one size up from what my son usually wears in clothing. That said, they are still really nice onesies. They are thin, so they make a good layering piece without overheating my son. They are also very inexpensive, and go up to larger sizes than any other brand I have found. I haven't had any problems with them at all.

As the other reviewers mention, these onesies run very small, and Gerber's sizing information is not accurate. My son is 13 months old and just starting to outgrow his 12-month-size clothes; he's lean but tall for his age (about 24 pounds, 31 inches). Knowing Gerber runs small, I bought the 24-month size onesies, which ought to have been too big. But Gerber's 24-month onesie is about the same size as my Carter's 12-month bodysuit. The material is much thinner than the Carter's suit, too, which I dislike since I'm trying to add a layer of warmth in winter.

I ordered these size 24mo onesies for my 18mo old daughter. She is a very tall and skinny kid (23lbs) and the 24mo size fits her perfectly. They do shrink a little too. Every size of Gerber onesies I have bought have been a little on the small side.
